SE only responded in the red scrip is not casual friendly thread. You should have seen it comming. They made it a bit more casual friendly since they need less money/time now to cap their scrips. Are you serious? The amount of red scrips it took to cap was one of the LEAST of our concerns. None of the actual problems are fixed with this.
It's obvious trolling since they also added a ''get 5 tokens instead of one'' option instead of allowing items from any vendor to be bought in any stack size.
They were never planning on easing this stupid favor system for the hardcore crafters
I guess we'll find out soon enough exactly what this means. It actually could work if the time out is about 5 mins (not 30) as that would keep them out of rejoining most of the time without having a huge penalty if they're trolled."The Duty Finder has been adjusted so that players who have been vote-dismissed are not immediately available as candidates for joining a party."
You can get booted for no reason and have a lockout penalty. Troll tools at is finest. This was a troll of a hot fix cause it didn't fix nothing.
Because people fear that groups will troll with votekick and lock out players from using duty finder again.
But it's probably just a "cant rejoin same party again" lockout, instead of a general duty finder lockout
Ofcourse I did. But I hoped more then just greed. Sadly I'm nearly always right.SE only responded in the red scrip is not casual friendly thread. You should have seen it comming. They made it a bit more casual friendly since they need less money/time now to cap their scrips.

People automatically assuming majority of the FFXIV community are trolls and will kick people for no reason other than 'lol just because.' It's basically the same gloom and doom people went crazy about with the Loot Master system.
If you're kicked without warning or unfairly (newbie), report those players. However, if you were kicked because you weren't meeting the expectations of majority of the group (BLM only casting Blizzard, for example) and ignored the requests of the party to improve, then you can't report them. You were kicked because they thought you were trolling (that's how "I play how I want" is seen).
I've been vote kicked many times with no reason.
Party:
Me: Heya All!![]()
5mins later:
You've been dismissed from your current duty. "Uhm.. WTF?"
I guess I look to cute for them. I put it down to jealousy. Usually nothing is said. If people talk, I always be nice, talk back, have a giggle. No one likes a boring duty!
It's like my friend always says. You have nice players, who are bad at the game, but you are always assured that you'll have fun with them, no matter how bad they are. State of the Art players, who take the game too serious, and have a massive attitude problem.
The only reason why I even care to go into Duty Roulette's is to earn Commendations for doing an outstanding Job.![]()
It's a shame that this feature isn't monitored closer. And I can understand what they done, if someone is trolling, but if the feature is abused to say.. "get a friend in", or to "leave w/o earning 30min ban", I'd say they should be punished for that.![]()
