How do ya figure, sports fan? The amount of time and effort it took to get red scrips (at least the gatherer ones) is was one of the biggest complaints here on the forums. But it's "trolling" because they didn't also increase the cap?

Time, and effort? xD. You'd get 8 scrips for every turn in. You could get 2 turn ins from chysahi greens at 9AM/PM and 2 turn ins from adamantite ores at 11AM/PM. That's 32 scrips spending like 1 minute every half an hour, you do that 14 times and literally you don't have to worry about it until the next week. The only legit complaints one could have were the weekly lockout and the craft red scrips that could be expensive due to the mats, but guess what, red craft scrips haven't been increased Lol. Yes, troll fix at its finest.
