Aurum Vale vs Dusk Vigil: Which one give more EXP?

I haven't actually tested this myself... But It does seem like Aurum Vale may yield more EXP in total than Dusk Vigil does. Has anyone done any tests? If not, I may add up the exp totals myself later on a level 51 job.

Okay, here are my results:

Level 51 WHM. Dungeons were ran with same EXP boosts, and both dungeons took more or less 30 mins.

Aurum Vale(Full Clear): 362,322 EXP

Dusk Vigil: 344,494 Exp

So Aurum Vale does give more exp in the end... But you usually won't get a full run. Also, Aurum vale took about 10 more minutes to que for, and dusk vigil was instant. So I'd say Dusk is better for EXP grinding(esp. since you are forced to do a full run).

Last time I did DV today I only got 260k xp full clear with no rested experience

AV gives about 350-375k iirc

Also depends on your level, and if there are new people. These were just my results(no new people, same bonus, same level).

You done total EXP, but you didn't state full details. I haven't done it myself yet, but when considering what's better..You need to consider completion rate.

Can you level sync down and still get EXP? If so, it will definitely be better. But under level synch? The potential for taking longer is there given AV hits like a truck for no reason and you can't just burn down 2-3 groups of mobs. Dusk Vigil, you can manage this without any real trouble.

AV may give more than DV in terms of experience, but that doesn't mean a thing if you're not doing it with a premade. AV is one of the hardest dungeons in the game to most players who don't know how to play well, and because of that it will fail over and over again, with people leaving, and others not making the cut. This takes the clear time for the dungeon to almost consistently 40+ minutes. Unless you're doing a premade for leveling AV, DV is a faster run. Premade, I don't doubt that overall it's better to use AV.

towards the end of AV wer the little malboro hatch from the egg things. DONT KILL THE EGGS, let those little suckers hatch, they give literally 5k exp each and they go down pretty easy!

so many people just kill the eggs and get 400exp and its such a waste and i cry a little inside...im like how dare u!
