I hope they make Chocobo Specific Emotes like rearing or Flapping its wings or something. Not just Regular emotes while on top of a chocobo.

Although it’s scheduled around 2.0 timing, when it comes to basic emotes (like wave/cheer/goodbye) we are looking into this in a proactive manner. We would love to hear any feedback for any other emotes you would like to perform while mounted.

This might be a bit off topic from the thread, but I’d really like animations for mounting chocobos. Also, I’d like improvements to stopping when you mount while running.

Blow your whistle while you run and then hopping onto your chocobo.
I’ve been waiting forever for this kind of thing that you seen in western movies.

Due to the fact that it is difficult to implement a movement dynamic to jump and mount while running, we are not thinking about mounting animations at the moment. However, if you have any motions you would like us to look into, we would definitely like to look into them, so please let us know your requests.

Doing this while riding a chocobo would be severely dangerous to others in Eorzea. This is as dangerous as texting while driving!
