I think I read that FC chatting outside of the game is coming at some point. Probably along with add-ons.
1) Fishing Tackle Box that holds 99 of each kind - at this moment i have 3 Retainer Tabs full with bait b/c i go out fishing on a whim and dont want to run to an NPC to buy bait everytime and throw half of it away when i got the fish
2) Able to buy amounts higher then 1 for all items off the GC/MGP/Tomestone NPCs - clicking a total of 800+ times item -> yes -> item -> yes for one airship is not accetable. Low pricing on items just makes it worse
3) Bigger Armory - even 5 slots would be fine - hell even only 5 more weapons would be fine. Having one weapon for each class means you're at 24/25 i.e.: if your armory is full and you try to equip a new weapon you get an error message - not good, this has to come with more jobs anyways, why not work on it now and make life for us easier?
I'm disappointed in myself for leaving out the grand company purchases... I must've gotten distracted when I went to write that one down. That one is killer... Definitely need to let us purchase different amounts when it comes to items like Coke.
Indicate what masters books you have bought for crafters

1.) Low, Mid, and High Level Roulettes. I like this idea
2.) Extreme Trial Roulette. Yuck...
6.) Make FATE areas bigger. YES
Especially in the new areas. Seems like people love to run out and chase mobs down not realizing they are actually out of the fate.
7.) When in a pre-made party of any size, show who in your party has or has not readied for duty when the queue has popped, just like the ready check window does. YES
9.) Add “Report Cheating” function.
I can see people abusing this. But it would be nice to report all the BLM gil sellers in Ul'dah
10.) When placing an item for sale on your retainer that you are already selling one of, make the default price the same.
OMG YES
11.) As long as your FC member rank allows you to remove items from the Company Chest, count the chest contents when using the “search for item” function.
Not a bad idea.
12.) Add a Company Chest to Ishgard.
Yes
13.) Enable the use of crafting materials straight from our retainers without having to put the items in our inventory.
OMFG YES... I would seriously ship my pants (KMart reference). "Oh I need this item, and that item, and they are here, there, over here. Oh now I need to go gather some of these." /facepalm
14.) Along with the current numerical progress of synthesis, also show it as a percentage.
Not sure why this would be helpful
18.) Let us train our chocobos from the stable whether our chocobo is stabled, summoned, or neither.
Yes. Some of us don't have a house/stable.
19.) Allow placement of holiday furniture and items into the Armoire, or add a new separate piece of furniture for it.
Yes
20.) Allow Relic weapons to be placed in the Armoire.
Yes, all of them. Because they are useful now. :P
22.) Place the Currency Tab once again on the Character Sheet, while moving the Reputation Tab instead.
Yes. I do not like the new currency tab.
23.) Clickable URLs. I feel that this could already be coming when add-ons arrive, but it sure would be nice.
Meh, copy paste. Move on.
28.) Add the /bgm command.
Yes
New Suggestions:
1) Automatically set focus to the search box when initially accessing the market board. I can't count how many items I opened it and started typing and it was in my chat box.
2) Make a teleport location in the Ishgard Ather to exit to Coerthas Western. Every other city has an exit to all the zones. Ishgard has Coerthas Central only?

The biggest QoL boost for me, would be to have cooldowns reset after a wipe! I know its been asked for a million times already, but we haven't really been given a good reason why it cant be done, so far as I've seen.
If it would be open to exploit somehow, like say, dying in dungeons on purpose to get all your CD's back... then instead of having the timers automatically reset when wiping, you could perhaps stick an NPC outside the arena / boss room which you speak to reset everything upon request? (It would also have to remove any active buffs when doing this!).
Or add 'Tents' as consumable items you can use in rest spots to do the same thing?
Failing this, simply making cooldowns recover faster when not in an encounter would suffice, i.e. 2x the rate.
All great QoL suggestions, OP. I would add:
1. Queue for dungeons and such with chocobo out (why are they not just counted as a pet???)
2. Ability to use other mounts with chocobo out
3. Queue with part of 2 for low level roulette.
4. For crying out loud, make GC leves work like regular leves so that I can activate them while in a group and my party member can help complete.
5. Would really like an option to display a visual by the character when a proc activates. Think power auras or something.
6. Let me view the FC window/interact with it while I'm in a dungeon... it's really bothersome. Not being able to whisper while someone's in a dungeon is bad enough.
It would be great if we could see in Linkshell player list when a player logged in the last time at this time its very difficult to sort out inactive members.
Love this thread and its ideasThe only one I disagree with is the music one mentioned. I think it would be far better to just have a command to turn off an area's BGM rather than outright change it.
It's been mentioned before but I also add either instanced apartments for players who can't get housing (that way everyone gets a small space to decorate and call their own/plant stuff), or at least allow players to plant little garden pots in their inn rooms.
