    While most of your gripes are legitimate, I just wanted to point out that:

    This was done intentionally to allow different classes to use the same look that used to be restricted by class, and also to allow for coloring on some looks that could not previously be colored. Since they seem intent on leaving the glamour system the way it is, this was their way of getting around the problem.
