Have 2 Pc's same videocards, but both cards crash and overheat in the one pc
video card Msi r9 280x gaming 3GB

the problem pc is a quadcore Phenom 9850 gigabyte GA MA790x ds4 with 8gb ddr2 ram (ganged mode), SSD windows 8.1 64bit, so it will crash with any onscreen app but I use msi afterburner on my other pc with the riva tuner for on screen display. updated windows 8.1 to date and it freezes not just crash ffxiv pc when you try to start ffxiv on dx9 or dx11 this pc use to run a hd6850 and use msi afterburner just fine on dx11, but besides it not running at all with riva tuner working on screen app when run solo it overheats to 95c when visual problems occur shortly after launching ffxiv. tried clean driver install. settings and settings. this pc connects with hdmi

now the good pc is a Eightcore 8350 gigabyte 990fxa ud3 with 16gb ddr3, ssd windows 8.1 64bit, this board is only pcie 2.0 as well as the first but it runs both msi r9 280x at 70c with custom fan profiles, also use the onscreen display np this pc use dvi
