The seraph cane will have a bigger potency for that regen and medica... due to the higher MND and MD over the secondary stats that will barely effect it on the Hive cane. They can also crit.
so kind of not a good choice.
Still, regardless if you have the hive cane you can get away with getting other peices 1st, but the i200 weapon will have a bigger impact on all heals. and det also took a huge hit since HW and critical is actually quite good.

i chose Body piece. Didn't wanted to wait (oh and glamour), stat weights are a bit weak for Healers it seems, and since i cant progress in savage for the next 1,5 months due to my holiday-job, it doesnt matter.
What exactly is the huge hit to det? I know that it doesn't affect auto attack anymore and whm don't auto attack. I don't think you should listen to all the hype about crit and wd. Crit is an awesome stat for all classes except for whm. Det is still a very decent stat especially for whm since it affects all heals. Crits are only good for regens and medica II for whm. I took the leg and head along with hive cane over the eso weapon last week and have been very happy so far. I keep telling everyone that only ilvl matters and two pieces of i200 is better than one.The seraph cane will have a bigger potency for that regen and medica... due to the higher MND and MD over the secondary stats that will barely effect it on the Hive cane. The big hit to Det is the same as to all other secondary stats. That it now takes around 2-3 times the stats to get the same effect as preheavansward. It's the same reason why even though we have all this spellspeed were casting as slow as or slower than we did in ARR.

I agree to a point. For a healer with hive weapon, the eso weapon is a very small upgrade and not an absolute must as it would be for a dps. I've healed side by side with very similarly geared SCH's using eso book vs my hive book+2 pieces of eso gear and they only outheal me by a very very small amount...a difference of about 10hp on succor, 30ish on adlo, etc.
I prefer to keep crit intact even if it's only a miniscule chance to happen, and I'm perfectly fine with heals on any content. Will wait till new relics to decide which weapon I will aim for

I personally am not a big fan of the Det loss, Det is much more reliable than Crit (since you're not going to Crit every single time you heal). I am picking up the weapon in a couple of weeks (just an accessory next week and 2 weeks of saving and I'll be good to go!), but that is because I replaced some of my i190 items with i200 items until I felt like my gear was stable enough to take the 80 Det loss.![]()
