Airship Armorer / Blacksmith turn-in distinction

My FC and I were just about to produce our first airship, having crafted all of the components. A lot of the metal pieces can be crafted by either an armorer or a blacksmith.

I found out the hard way that when a craft can be completed by two classes, the interface requires the crafter to have the appropriate level in the lower of the two classes. Because of this I could not turn in my Cobalt Rivets because they require blacksmith lv. 43, which I don't have because I crafted them with armorer lv. 44, having only leveled blacksmith up to lv. 16 to make my Iron Nails.

While annoying, I understand the distinction in a few cases, but:

---Which class is required to turn in materials when they each learn the recipe at the same level, for instance the darksteel nuggets require 50 in either class. Is it flexible (i assume not), or will I have to level all the way to lv. 50 for certain items that are inexplicably not covered by Armorer, despite being crafted by one?

Also, if someone from SE reads this, could you think about making the class restrictions more reasonable, allowing either class to turn in the items they make?

    Thanks!

I've noticed the same thing with one of the ingots which can be crafted by BSM, ARM and GSM. The class to hand it in? Blacksmith ;_; I want my Goldsmith exp, thank you. Even if it's not much.

(Also, it's not the "lower of the two classes" if you're thinking alphabetical order. If you look at your list of classes, you'll find Blacksmith listed before Armorer. Probably due to how they're sorted in Japanese. So Blacksmith is the "upper/first" of the classes, despite the name coming after in English alphabetical order.)

One thing that is interesting, I believe one of our crafters discovered that Garlond Steel can be crafted at level 53 but required level 54 to be able to hand in.

Oh, I was hypothesizing that when two classes share the same recipe, but they are at different levels (Cobalt Rivets take a 43 Blacksmith or a 44 armorer, for instance), that the turn in window would require the job with the lower level recipe. I don't know if that holds for all instances though.

Garlond Steel can be crafted at lv 50.

But you'll need a lv54 BSM for some airship parts, and lv54 ARM for some other airship parts.

Not really much you can do.

Slightly annoying, yeah, but hopefully there's someone in your FC who can turn in the items required with the appropriate level.
