Too bad not all PvP'ers feel this way. Too many people in the "wahhh stay in PvE, noobs" camp for my tastes.
I don't like dealing with people bitching at me for not knowing much about PvP. :/
They can't fix the PvP queues if nobody wants to PvP.
SE on all things concerning PvP and the ques:
They're clearly not listening and they clearly don't care.

As much as Square can do, they can't make people like PvP. And they have tried! There's two different unique mounts, the latest set of PvP armors have some genuinely decent stats with Morale being pushed into a fifth stat, making the new PvP sets the only gear outside of aetherial and certain healer pieces to have 5 stats. There's just no want for PvP save by a small, if vocal, minority.
I am sorry but I find this post ignorant and foolish. They have not tried to fix ques. They have intentionally bottle necked ques with the system in place. They have also done nothing to explain why some people are prioritized others. Everyone above rank 40 knows the problem and they refuse to do anything. Then we have people like you perpetuating false truths. As much as Square can do, they can't make people like PvP. And they have tried! One remove Grand company requirement, two remove any other hidden calculators. Set one mode with this requirement and we will see how fast ques are. I have seen nights with over 100 people in que across multiple linkshells not get into any matches all qued with the same settings. Why do you think all 100 people sat in que when it only takes 72 to start a game?

Actually, the problem with PvP queues predates Frontlines (though not by much given the amount of time between each's implementation) because, again, they were taking forever. But Wolves' Den has no Company restrictions, so it couldn't possibly be that. The argument then was that the party system (tank, healer and two DDs, just like dungeons) was ruining it. Heaven forbid it be that the PvP community be but a fraction of what people want to believe it is. Frontlines was an attempt to get people into PvP by giving it lore and an overarching purpose. This did lead to a resurgence in PvP activity, albeit a short-lived one as all people wanted was the pony and gear for glamour, then the ADS a bit after that. Noone cared about the PvP itself save those that wanted PvP. I won't deny the occasional foolishness, but at least I try to keep up with events.
Actually Wolves Den has built in restrictions in the que. It can be manipulated to create instant pops. In fact before 3.0 they had several Fridays that they were able to put a bunch of teams in games. The que matches teams based on rank which infact can be worse then the GC restriction. People find when we manipulate the rank system instant pops against teams you want works very well in the den.
Is it so hard to just say let the pvpers have 100% unrestricted que. 100% removal of any hidden mechanics built into the DF. People join at your own risk. If after that the ques haven't balanced to any sort of reasonable que 10 mins or less (reasonable). I will start a "Sorry pvpers wre wrong and all the non pvpers knew so much better" thread.

I am thinking we either have to all show SE that we DO like their PVP and care for it, or give up hope. I hope we don't have to resort to the latter, but the future is looking bleak.
My queue times for Seize have been good. Usually 5 minutes, sometimes 10 during primetime.
