I understand your position, but we're trying to see if we can have FFXIV be the sole resource your would need for the whole of the content. Not google, or outside information - that would be for real hardcore players that love this kind of stuff, as there is nothing wrong with it. Some people play on PS3/PS4 and there is targetting issues, limited space on bars...etc, they may not have a laptop beside them and stepping away from the game to help you play the game is...it's not great.

The natural gap/seperation is there in FFXIV but it's weak. You learn a new ability NPC gives you a quest that like say "You should probably sneak there. Sneaking is good. Sneak!" but doesn't do nothing more, or further incentive about it. It's a gate, a weak gate, but doesn't indulge in "advance button pressing".
Mostly, like you say, there's instances like, you talk to a bard that says "Ultima was awesome, let me tell you the embellished tale. Careful, I'll embellish it with lasers and stuff." Then throws you in Ultima Hard Mode, crushing parties that are weaker in their performances (at the time).
Having something to improve the average player's quality of life would be nice, and a step forward in game design.

What people try to say it's that we need something that clearly say to someone that he's not in the good direction with his current gameplay.

It's normal that you get fucked out when trying to advise someone who seems to not doing well. How is he supposed to know that YOU know the right things.
"you should do that instead of this because it's better for that"
"just... go die man. Let me do as i want"

But if it's the computer that highlights his lack of skill or a wrong gameplay, he's not going to see red.
He would try to get the
    Flashing/Rainbow/Stars/insertwhatevergratuitouspsychologicalrubdownsyougot
    that notifies you're the best.

No game is like that, unless you're smart, have history with mmos, a skilled player and/or can gather everything from damage logs. Your average bad (And casual in this case) is not going to be able to get the information (that's already there by the way) from the game or else they would do it now. There are ways to get all the information people put in their guides from in the game (how else did they get it?) right now.

There's nothing in this game that keeps bads/slow bads down from end game content, SE didn't design the game that way. FFXIV is the only game that makes you go through a quest to get your new job skills(if you read it teaches you about it), it is also the only game with this high number of bads. Bads do not read in game tutorials, information, etc hell alot of them won't even read the tooltips. SE needs to make hard content out of raids and to stop nerfing everything to the ground. Plus allow us to use parsers.

The same thing happened in WoW. I was the lowest dps in my raid then I got a meter (they were only just becoming a thing) then I climbed that meter. By the time we cleared the content I was 5-10% ahead of everyone else on that meter. Having that tool helped me SEE when I was slipping and helped me pull myself up whenever I did.

I'll admit I grew frustrated with the elitist culture that grew up around the meters, even if that culture was smaller than one may think. Here, now that I am actually trying to do content that semi-matters, I miss the darn things.
