Leviathan EX - Underwater Exploration... Oops.

Just a fun vid I managed to capture the other day during a Leviathan EX clear...
(Edit: I took vid down - don't wanna get in trouble for people trying to recreate or something.)

Had this happen after I accidentally accepted a res when Leviathan does his deck slam...Was still invincible/res'ing during the slide, so was officially revived and able to move when already in the water. Kept running around trying to/expecting to die instantly, but uh.

Knew people could get "frozen" off the side, but not about running around. So curious about if I'd been ranged, whether I'd have been able to get a hit in, haha. Even an Azure Dragoon can't jump quiiite that high, it seems...or maybe I was just weighed down by my gear.

At about :45 secs, you can also see my character slide as if still on the surface.
Edit: Ended up being that I was the last to survive (if one can really call it that, lol). Ooh, but he found me just fine in the end. XD

Anyone else have weird stuff like that happen?

All the levels and gear in the world can't compensate for stupid, and Leviathan is VERY good at punishing stupid.

More common than you'd think. You actually have to stop DPS when you're unsynced at certain points of that fight so the generator can charge, and stopping DPS is hard.

Oo, there's that, but we were also helping a few out with first time clears. I'm pretty sure you're allowed to make mistakes your first run.

Nah, it's summertime. You're expected to read all about the fights beforehand, read all FAQs and guides, then watch a video online of exactly what to do in the fight.

Because you know, learning is passé, lol.

Falling down is the earliest recorded joke applied to stupid people. So people falling off of the arena, especially when there is a nice sploosh following the initial "oh no!", is stupid comic gold. SE should add a Wilhelm scream to these player deaths.

I've tried 8 players lv 60 unsynched and got wiped 3 times due to too much dps even thought we went in as 5 tanks 1 dps and 2 healers.. The converter hasnt recharged fast enough, and there were times that levi's rotation is having screwed order..
Went in synch, and no issue..
