any FCs out there with former veteran WoW players?

New PC on Friday since mine was 5 yrs old and died.

***BORING WoW talk below, please don't hate post for that*****

Anyways I'm looking for an FC raiding group that needs a SMN.

Experienced raider and veteran here since vanilla on and off. Can link my profile and videos as proof if needed. Or just Google boocraft wow

Played in a top 15 US guild in Cata. Top guild on Darkspear in WOTLK.

Know my rotation in any and all games mmorpg related. Skilled player in PvE and mostly thanks to my knowledge from PvP in WoW. S3 duelist, s4 glad, s5 glad, s6 glad, quit arenas and s9 glad. Quit arenas again and came back season s12 for X2 glad on two classes. Quit arenas and got to 2800 arenas in WoD season 1. And quit WoW completely after discovering this game.

Been playing non stop after work and weekends. The PvE in this game truly is something special. Haven't an actual raid yet with an FC and I'm having more fun in PvE than I did on WoW... ever.

Anyways I hope to hear from someone. Been feeling kinda alone out in FFXIV. In terms of my knowledge on WoW and the way things run a lot different on there.

Not sure why you're looking specifically for veterans... in my experience most fc have one or two just because there are so many ex wow-players in this game. Not one myself, but I know several in my fc. Doesn't come up much though, if anything more as a throwaway of "been there, done that; I love ff more, never going back". One anecdote a fellow member gave me recently was that he went back to wow for a evening of raiding and apparently the fight had a dodge-everything achievement that he didn't even know about till then. And he got it easily because of how FF conditioned him to dodge and stuff. XD
In the end, I am not sure if there is such a thing as wow-vets-exclusive FCs anywhere. I wish you luck, but adivse on not hoping for too much, maybe you're better off just finding a nice FC that happens to have a few wow players in it. o/

If anything you can always transfer to a server like Gilgamesh. Lot of top end FC's. You can actually PF most content. Not positive but I'm sure A1S has downed via PF.

I hear you, though. I'm no where near as good as you, but I cleared heroic raids while current in MoP (#4 on Korgath). A lot of the ex WoW players I run into in this game never did hardcore raiding (mostly LFR or normal mode) or they quit in BC/Wrath, so it's hard to find people to connect with. Rather lonely sometimes; especially when popular opinion is that all us WoW people are the scum of humanity.

Anyway, good luck! With those credentials, you should have no issues finding a good home in a top FC; those are very likely full of WoW ex-pats. I definitely recommend the Reddit route.
