Alternate characters going through MSQ

I do get the fact you can be every job so there's no real need to have a second or alternate character. However, as someone who likes a little variety and enjoys the benefits of having multiple characters, I'm finding it a major chore to get through the main story again. It's not that I didn't enjoy it, but I've actually leveled one other character already to level 50 pre-HW and another is about level 45 right now. the one at 45, I'm just trying to get to Ishgard so I can be a Dark Knight and that's all. my playtime is reaching about 48 hours, which honestly isn't all that bad, but knowing how much more I have to go makes me roll my eyes sometimes even though I'm making pretty good time. My main character is past HW content/story, I have a couple level 60 jobs and a couple level 55's plus craft and gather jobs are the same.

I'm pointing all that out since I've completed both 2.0 all the way up to completing the expansion, is it really necessary for me to have to go through the MSQ all over again? I'm wondering if it's feasible to allow players who've already completed HW story to be able to start in Ishgard at level 30 as one of the new jobs?

They are never gonna change this. And no point in posting it on the forums, because you are only gonna get the "you don't need alts!" "oh you like to roleplay, wrong game" "the story is the game" and whatever all the people who DON'T have another character will say.

I feel you though I have 2 characters at lvl 60 and im soon gonna work on my third one who's still at lvl 50.
Doing the main quest 3 times was like the most boring ive had in a game ever, but I really wanted my 3 characters at vl 50 so I did it anyway

I've levelled 3 characters to 50 pre-HW just to re-experience the levelling and story, and I'm working on a 4th on a separate account now.
While I understand the desire to hit Ishgard, I still think the game is perfectly fine the way it is.
Since you already have a character to Ishgard, you knew the process before you even started. Why bitch now?

I have 1 main character and 2 alts. gotta say.. running through moogle hell more than once ups my anxiety/anger levels lol.. Seriously.. Makes me boil. Also leveling jobs from 50 to 60 more than once is hell. Beginning to think im going to have to drop 1 or both alts.. just too much work.
