    Disciple of Land Tweaks Needed

Hey there! So there are a few tweaks I would like to suggest to improve Disciple of Land classes (Miner, Botanist, Fisher).

1.) GP Regen Increase: Either increase regen rate higher than 5 every three seconds or change the regeneration rate from a static number to a percentage. Cordials are burned through so fast because of this, even when not actively farming nodes. This is especially problematic because, when changing from any other class to a Disciple of the Land, the maximum GP you start with is, like, 400 or so, and most endgame gatherers have a max GP of 600+. Not to mention most gatherers, especially when gathering collectibles, blow all of their GP on a single node and have to wait at least 4 in-game hours for a full recovery (which takes at least 10 minutes, which for a gatherer is really hard to deal with), not to mention there's a cooldown on Cordials/Hi-Cordials. It makes things tedious.

2.) Fishing Exclusive: When Patience or Patience II expires in the middle of a fishing attempt, please either keep Precision Hookset and Powerful Hookset useable until the fishing attempt is finished OR revert catching chance and HQ chance to default values mid-attempt. Getting tired of losing fish because Patience expires before a fish bites.

3.) Mining / Botany Exclusive: For all nodes that only spawn once every 6 hours, please increase the yield of the items while NOT under the effect of Collector's Glove to either 3 or 5, like ARR nodes.

4.) Fishing Exclusive: Please make Fish Eyes a toggle ability like Snagging. I've tried using it at a number of fishing holes when I don't catch what I want and end up wasting valuable GP when it doesn't work.

Augh... that #2. When the fish takes 5000 years to bite instead of its usual bite time, that's a truly painful loss.

Yeah it is, especially when you time Patience/Patience II to end before the window closes for a certain fish. Terrible.

Also, added #3 and #4 to the list.

I haven't reached the point of getting Patience or Patience II, so can't comment on #2, but #1 is already starting to be an issue, even at level 37 BTN / 38 MIN, with the prospect of it continuing to just get worse the further I get.

We have assorted gear bonuses, food bonuses, and so on that can increase our maximum GP, but nothing to help with actually gaining the points to reach that maximum. They should either make it a percentage, as you mentioned, or give us traits to increase the regen speed, or maybe add GP regen buffs to equipment and/or food along with the max GP bonuses. I'm not too particular about how it's implemented, but we need something to boost GP regen as we start moving up in levels.

To explain, Patience and Patience II are fishing buffs that cost 450/570 (or something like that) GP that increase the HQ chance of getting fish by 50%/80%, at the cost of a debuff that reduces the chance of actually catching a fish by 40%/75%, respectively (Patience II also adds a buff that increases the odds that you hook a larger fish, but that's irrelevant to the context of the issue). Now that sounds sucky until you realize that Powerful Hookset and Precision Hookset will negate the debuff for a single catch at the cost of 74/82 (or something like that) GP, and both of those hooksets can only be used while Patience/Patience II is up. It's unbelievably useful for catching fish.

The trouble is that, if you cast your line before the buff/debuff expires, then it expires while your line is in the water, not only does the HQ buff and catching debuff effects stay in effect for that hook, but you can't use Powerful Hookset or Precision Hookset to negate the catching debuff.

Not sure if you understand what I'm trying to say, but if you plan on pursuing fishing, you definitely will.

I can deal with burning cordials, but on the flip side of that I want to actually burn them. Make the cooldown nothing, instead of four minutes.

I would actually like the new unspoiled nodes to last more than 45 in-game minutes.

    I can agree with that.
