What is the better value for Eso? (WHM related)

So I haven't spent any of my Eso, and I see a topic referencing Astro but not WHM. I'm in the dilemma of either buying the weapon come Tuesday or going ahead and buying the body. Like in the Astor topic, there is a few things stopping me from making a decision:

1. Relic Quest: I don't want to waste Eso on something that will be trumped by the Relic Quest. I kept up with the ARR relic quest to a tee and I will probably do the same this time around too. Do we know if the Eso weapons will be used in the quest?
   
2. People have said the weapon isn't as much a priority for healers as it is for DPS and Tanks; more HP would benefit better...BUT
   
3. I also DPS a good bit but I do NOT intend to do Savage. So there's a half and half there too.
   
4. Weapon vs. Robe Weapon actually has better stats overall, but then back to number 1 and 2.

I'd like to not only know what you think, but what you are planning to do as a WHM. Thanks!

since ESO weapon and robe both have crit rate, which is not the best stat for WHM, im trying to get the robe from alex, and wait for the relic quest for weapon (since i cant farm alex savage to get the weapon there)
there are many equip items from ESO with great stats, so why get the ones which are not that good for WHM

Then pretty much anything left side will suffice if not doing savage, provided they have the Hive Cane already. If not, then nothing else is a bigger upgrade than a weapon since 20 ilvl is a huge jump, let alone 10 from Hive.

Personally I don't plan on getting the Eso body, unless it's glamour later, as a WHM. I'm waiting for the Alex body. I had the i180 legs still, and the Hive weapon. The increase from the Hive weapon to the Eso was less than 1% difference compared to the increase of the i180 legs to the i200 legs. Plus I get to keep Det from the Hive and increase Pie with the pants. Tomorrow I'll pick up the Eso head piece. I'll go into raiding Savage with 2 left side pieces while others go with a weapon and maybe a right side piece.

The Eso weapon isn't that good for WHM, so I'm waiting for the relic. Since weapon damage doesn't scale the same with healing, I don't have to waste 900+ Eso on a weapon I'm only keeping for a few weeks. It allows me to work toward my final build instead of using a band aid weapon that I don't even want.

I raid so I'm getting the weapon regardless of what anyone says. Secondary stats like det vs crit will even out in the long run so I don't really pay attention to those. Weapon damage gives stronger heals and every bit of healing is almost as valuable as every bit of dps. WHM will be required to burst dps in A3 as well so the extra weapon damage and crit might come in handy. If you don't raid, then I guess you just take whatever the prettier looking of the two: weapon or robe. Relic weapon might still be about 2 months away and by that time I might have the gordian cane already which renders the new relic weapon obsolete.
