Thread: Regarding entry requirements for the Hairstyle design contest

Hello,

First off I apologise if the Website Feedback forum is the wrong place to post this but I can't find a more appropriate way to relay my query to the development team. Basically I have two questions relating to the Hairstyle design contest which aren't made explicitly clear within the contest boilerplate:

1. The rules state that contest entry is,

"open to existing holders of an active FINAL FANTASY XIV service account ... who are resident in the United Kingdom, France Germany and Spain only".

Regarding this, I am indeed a British citizen, and I possess permanent residence within the United Kingdom, however I'm currently abroad in Australia for study. Under these terms would I therefore be eligible or ineligible for entry?

2. Also, regarding the submission of contest entries the Design Requirement section of the rules states that,

The Hairstyle must be an image from the front of the head. Contestants may also submit an image of the Hairstyle from the back of the head in addition to the front image; however, this is not mandatory.

I've already prepared a design I'd like to enter, but certain elements aren't made clear by a strict front/rear perspective. If I were to compile all three into a single image could I then submit views of my design from the front, back and side?

Again, I apologise for (potentially?) posting this in the wrong place. If you could tell me of a better way to get in touch with a relevant member of the development team, or to notify them of this in my stead, I'd appreciate it.

Obviously, I'm not an official representative. But if you have a European account you should be just fine. And as long as you have a front view. If you wanted to include the side and back views, that's cool but as long as there is a dedicated front view to fulfill the rules I"m sure you'd be fine.

Please excuse the late reply but I was leaving this up in hopes of an official comment.

Guess I'll just hedge my bets, assume I'm allowed to enter, upload the front/back view and maybe include a hotlink for the side design in the contest description.
