    Graphical Issue

    Intel Core i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz
    Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
    Installed Memory: 8.00 GB
    Operating System: Windows 10 64bit

First off, let me say that I realize that integrated graphics cards are not the best for playing games. However, I do not have a choice in the matter. Regardless, I am having an issue where the in-game graphics are completely screwy. The entire screen is covered in a random assortment of colors, and will blink very rapidly. I have a screen shot of the issue, minus the blinking.

I have tried changing the graphics settings multiple times to no avail. I'm honestly not even sure it is an issue with the intergrated graphics as I have been checking forums and found that multiple people are able to run the game just fine with it. I have run the benchmarking program and it scored 3159, however the graphical issue was showing up in the benchmarking tool. Any help in resolving this matter or determining what the issue is would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Something is seriously wrong there. Either it's the graphics hardware, graphics software (drivers) or the Windows 10 DirectX issues. FFXIV is known to have problems running smoothly on some Win10 installs.

Does the issue still exist in full screen mode? It looks like a failing graphics chip to me but may not be.

I'm thinking it has to be something with FFXIV. Full screen mode did not work. The computer runs Elder Scrolls Online with no issues, as well as other less intensive games. The weird thing is that the issue doesn't show up until you actually get into the game. The character loading screen, character creation, and the cinematics all work just fine. However, during character creation, if you change the background, then the issue shows up. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, so it may be an issue with the Win10 install.

Try a Google search specifically for FFXIV and Windows 10 to see what turns up. Apparently there's a DirectX issue that only effects this game and requires an additional download but as I run Win7 I know little about it.
