Cross-Hotbar and Hotbar Layout on PS4 Possible?

Just as title says, I want to have Cross-Hotbar and Vertical Hotbars at the same time. I've seen some people do it but how is it done?

Since I play Controller, how would I access the Vertical/Horizontal Hotbars quickly?

Note - I do have a keyboard plugged in for quick typing if that helps.

So you should have cross hotbar enabled already, you just need to check the boxes for the vertical/horizontal ones and put some skills on them. Also make sure they aren't hidden under HUD layout and make sure your setting keep you with controller enabled and not kb&m.

Most of the people I've heard about using both use the straight hotbars for viewing only (so they can see when skills are off cooldown even if they have a different cross-hotbar up at the time) but then have those same skills duplicated on a cross-bar to actually activate them with the controller.

I believe you could set it so that the 1 through = on the top line of the keyboard activate the straight hotbar items, though I haven't tried that myself. It would require disabling the "direct chat" option which makes keyboard keystrokes automatically go to the chat box. (Personally, I think I'd find switching back and forth between controller and keyboard more awkward than switching between different cross-bars and doing all actions with the controller.)
