Garuda Normal Needs a nerf

Garuda is fun in leveling roulette. I just briefly explain what to do. If we wipe because somebody made a mistake, I explain what went wrong, and repeat till we win. These things always go well if your communication is clear enough and you don't quit, because it's a real simple battle once everyone understand the strategy.

if you don't like it that much or have that many problems with it if you wipe a bunch of times after 15min just vote abandon if you really can't stand it and queue for the roulette again

Final Fantasy XI was difficult (18+ people for Dynamis, now you can solo it). It's on Super Easy Championship Mode now. This turned a LOT of people off as the game wasn't giving people a challenge. Many of us logged in just to have conversation with linkshell buddies to pass time.

We once beat this as a FC fight early on with two white mages, a paladin, and a monk because those were the only FC members available and nobody had leveled alt classes yet. I was one of the white mages so I popped on Cleric's Stance and Stone II'd like a champ.

Why don't we just nerf all of the primals, hm primals, and ex primals so people can complain there's nothing to do in game? There's got to be some content that takes people a few tries to complete and isn't face roll easy like most other content in this game. You not wanting to take a few minutes to explain a couple of mechanics to a newbie isn't a valid reason for nerfing Garuda nm, it's more like an excuse, so no I don't agree OP. If this is the m.o of vets towards newbies (f it I don't have a minute to explain something to this fing newb) in our game, our community is likely in trouble.

Every time I get Garuda NM for roulette, the n00bs just don't know what to do even if I explain to them 7 F*CKING times.

Try to do it with three of those and you are not going to clear it. Nor should you clear it and only thing left to do is curse your luck.

Got 3 newbies a week ago, one of them was my friend I invited to the game. Told them the tactic, after every wipe I told them what was wrong. After about 4 wipes we cleared it.

As I already said in this thread. If you cannot handle wipes and being around new people who are still learning, stop doing roulettes and spreading your toxicity to new players.

Content doesn't need a nerf because DF is brain-dead (I mean welcome to DF, enjoy your stay). Though they did nerf Steps of Faith to an utter joke for that reason, so who knows if they will or not.
