One-Handed Caster Weapons and Shields?

I hope SE will not listen to these wand/shield lovers because they're gonna please 50 people from every server combined but upset the rest of the caster players.

I think BLM and WHM should keep using only staves, but we could introduce a new class that uses shield and a wand?

I am glad 1h wand and shields are gone. I always thought that they looked hideous.

they should make either WHM or BLM go one way or the other.

personally, i like BLMs with two-handed staves and WHMs with Shield + Wand/Mace.

I'm fine with thembeing phased out as I always preferred the two handed staffs.

I could see, though, that the combination could be for something like BLU in the future

there's no way you can glamour one hand and shield on to two-hands, that's the problem.

(and having to scroll through multiple pages to find old topics doesn't make sense, that's why).

Any chance they could just mash some wand and shields into one item so that we can use them for glamour? I don't believe casters have any animation that effects the shield, so it shouldn't be that hard to implement?
