    It sounds like your permissions aren't right for the folder following the upgrade. Is it by chance stored on a drive other than the primary one?

    You could try using the take ownership context menu to take ownership of your 'My Documents' folder and all of the folders inside, this should allow your game configuration files to save correctly again.
