    When I hop into a DF I do so as a Tank, but I am expected to DPS but in your words, I am obviously only expected to Tank.

    It's called sarcasm...you obviously missed the earlier post by the OP shooting down my comment stating that he's a support class not a straight up DPS.

    As for tanks DPSing...yes...any tank worth his salt should be putting out as much DPS as he safely can without turning into a complete MP sponge, but that's a topic of discussion for another thread.

    If I'll que as DPS and only 'support' the party with songs I'll be kicked by 99% of groups, and rightfully so. Hmmm, maybe bard isnt so support class after all huh?

    Again...where in my post did I say you should only sit there and sing songs? You're initial post is nothing but you being bitter that you can't run around while still shooting the mobs/boss. BRD mobility in 2.x was something that never should have been allowed and you're upset that SE decided they agreed with that point of view and gave you incentive to stop running around while DPSing. Big deal, you have a cast bar now, learn mechanic timing and don't start charging a skill when there's something coming that you'll need to move out of.
