    Not all BRD's are unhappy about WM, though. So the only people who are hurt by this are some BRD's and if I had to play as a BRD, I wouldn't mind.

    With this problem should be a solution, and here's three possible options:

    1) Ramp up the damage bonus on WM to a point where it feels better to use it (at least 45%).

    2) Enable auto-attacks while under WM (easier fix while keeping the spirit of the buff).

    3) Allow casting while moving while under WM (still least damage, but gives bards their playstyle identity back).

    As for when I start working on my bard, I'll stick to the 2.x approach. I couldn't care less about better damage, at least I'll be having fun.

    Only way for this to work is to take away the damage buff, but allow BRD's to use Empyrean Arrow and Iron Jaws... but then that's pretty much removing WM's entire point.

    Yep that was the main issue the developers were having with increasing Bards Damage.

    Balancing out the ability to increase Bard's damage with their Mobility. They did want to avoid the "Perfect DPS Job Issue Scenario" after all.

    I would love being able to use EA and IJ outside of WM. I wouldn't even mind keeping WM's interruptible casts in exchange for a damage buff, if SE would just unlock EA and IJ out from under WM.

    God you people really need to stop saying it plays exactly like blm, you clearly do not play blm it is not at all exactly alike.
    So because Minuet has cast bar may as well associate it with being exactly like blm right? So many clueless people

    Many if not all Bards hate it, lol
    Only the ones that just refuse to adapt or are not able to for whatever reason, i guess complaining comes easier then learning changes

    Generlazation goes both ways. I can still play bard effectively, doesn't mean I like how bard plays (which is why I'm a MCH main, despite the two playing incredibly similar with GB/WM active)

    I can't call MCH with GB similar to BRD with WM.

    This is mostly due to how Machinist has more ability to by pass the charge bar with MCH only having Split Shot, Hot Shot, and Lead Shot being the only three skills that should be using with a Charge Bar on it. The other skills will ignore the charge bar and be instant cast.

    Slug Shot and Clean Shot naturally are instant cast as well when used for the 123 combo.

    Then there is also Rapid Fire which makes 3 skills naturally ignore the charge bar and be instant cast which is best used for Hot Shot, Lead Shot, and Split shot since those three skill should be the only skills Machinist used that have the Charge Bar.

    Bard on the other had has more skills that have Charge bar from ther basic Heavy Shot, Venomous Bite, Windbite, Iron Jaw, Straight Shot (without the Heavy Shot buff), and Empyream Arrrow.

    The skills that are instant cast mostly are for weaving being Bloodletter, Repelling shot, Blunt Arrow, and Misery's End.
