    Advice for healers in PVP?

So, I main healer, and I like running PVP. I want to get the various rewards, tomestones, all that good stuff... but it's always been immensely difficult at best. Borderline impossible on most days.

Especially with Seal Rock as of late, things have only gotten worse. My party is often spread out, or when we ARE together the other GCs bring multiple parties to a point. But that's besides the point. As a healer, I'm often the first targeted, and effectively shut down by ranged units. I can toss out regens, maybe a swiftcast divine seal medica II, and then that's it. I LITERALLY cannot do ANYTHING else. And I often swiftly die, unless I have attunement up in which case I live for 10 seconds, and then die. It's honestly pretty goddamn frustrating, and makes me want to just take a DPS class to 60 and run with that like all everyone else in the alliance.

Anyway... is there some trick, some mechanic that I'm just missing that would make healing at least somewhat viable in PVP? I want to help my team win, but right now it seems I do little more than sit on the ground half the match.

I posted a much more ranty version of this complaint but no, there's not really much you can do. Sprint often, buy the cooldown reducements for pvp abilities, try to break line of sight often. Consider fending accessories. But this will still happen.

You can try to go for point caps, essentially ignoring heal duties unless a friendly is nearby however.

The best thing is to have a cohesive party that will protect you but outside of premades, that's pretty rare.

You may have more fun on SCH or AST. AST has a lot of instant heals. For that matter, so does SCH and it's got the fairy. Oh, and shields prevent a lot of interruptions.

Play with me, I never step one milimeter away from our party healer as I realize they are our biggest assets.
And they are what keeps me alive.

Don't lead the way. Keep moving when possible. Don't underestimate using Surecast. Also, try to use the geography to your advantage to interrupt casting.

    Mmm...some tips would be:
    - Line of Sight often if you're being targetted.
    - Don't be afraid to pop Healer LB if you have of alot debuffs on you and/or your party members
    - For example if someone who got tri disaster got baned and spreaded it to your party members.
    - Always anticipate any Attunement usage and not use it as a panic button. Plan it. You don't want to use it at the last minute just to come out of it and die. Using this early for when people are trying to burst will effectively waste their burst.
    - Save Purify for the Full Swing debuffs, you don't want that on you ever.
    - Divine Seal + Surecast + Cure II will often times save your life.
    - Healer LB are usually used for cleansing and/or to heal up dmg from an opposing LB.
    - Use Benediction if you get <30%
    - Swiftcast Holy gives you time to run away. Same thing with Surecast + Blizzard II
    - Tetragrammation: pop at <50%, this kind of acts like an instant Cure II.

If you fear SMN, when your party is packed and you see enemies incoming pop Focalization, if the Tridisaster-Deathflare combo don't kill you SMN has a huge DPS lack while waiting for new Stacks and focalization will make u survive.
    Just a random tip xD
