I know, right? Poor Soken!
He's such an amazingly talented composer. He did sound design for 1.0, and was the main composer for both ARR and Heavensward's soundtracks. As has been mentioned by a few people, Nobuo has only had a very small hand in things since 1.0. In fact, Soken actually did a lot of the music on the tail end of 1.0 even, if I recall correctly.
He's very quickly becoming one of my all time favorite video game composers. Can't wait to hear what he has in store for us for the future!

Soken done garuda theme in version 1 , the OST was done by Nobuo Uematsu otherwise.
I think Soken is a great composer too, hes most likely on level with Nobuo only not as well known yet. I was just disappointed to see music recycled, even if it does make business sense. It makes me very sad hearing the hamlet music at the bosses in fractual. I want hamlet back but most likely never will be.
But final line, Yes Soken is also a great composer. They need to advertise him more! Garuda theme was one of my fave in version 1.

Just wow what people are telling here.
1.0: Nobuo did everything but Broken Angel, Good King Moggle Mog XII and Rise of the White Raven, which are Soken's work.
2.0: All Soken
3.0: Nobuo only did main theme, Soken did the rest

The GC musics are not from Uematsu and not from Soken

people should be able to tell the style differences of each composer already after listening to a bunch of their works.
HW themes are Soken's, except for the main theme.

Except it's false, many tracks were composed by various artists back in 1.0, a good amount was from uematsu indeed but not everything

While soken did HW Uematsu did the main theme, and lots of the main theme is used in HW
