I'm really offended that no one has mentioned Naoshi Mizuta. I knew that he was working on FFXIV just by hearing some tracks that sounds like FFXI music. That guy is incredible.

I see Heavensward soundtracks are more into my mood for a fantasy game, but still I feel the lack of the endlessness and neverendingness of the music like Yoko Shimomura's (Legend of Mana) and Junya Nakano's (Threads of Fate) had.
Oh, What would I kill for some more of Yasunori Mitsuda's works like on Xenogears.
I find it kind of funny the number of people who misspelled Nobuo Uematu's name even after the picture that was posted with his name in it.
