    Will we have new crafted PvP gears in 3.1?

    Title says it,
    When they first added pvp in 2.1 it came with ilv55 crafted gears as starting gears (they were great except the weapon based on the old morale). I am surpirsed that they didnt add anything in 3.05 I was expecting a new set of ilv150 pvp gears for reseting. The PvP tab in the craft log is laughable.

    I think they should just delete that tab entirely... Was any of the crafted PvP stuff ever useful? The gear was always utter rubbish and I always felt there was better foods and better potions I could be using instead...

    They could always just make the stuff worth a damn, but then they risk making PvP become about how much Gil you have, rather than skill.

    Any armor with ilvl 150+, is pvp gear. No need for seperate crafted.

    I actually think this is a pretty good idea. It would help out a lot if the crafted gear did not have ridiculously high PVP Rank requirements so it would be more accessible to more players. Preferrably it would have no PVP Rank requirement at all.
    At this current point in time all the PVP gear for max level requires Rank 45+, which is a huge climb and largely unobtainable for new players.

    They could also just bump up the morale on old gear to make it 150. I was a little surprised when they uncapped rank but didn't do that.

    It depends on how seriously SE wants to take the supposed-to-be revamped Wolves' Den. If they anticipate many players will play that mode, which may have an uncapped option or be uncapped altogether, we might very well see new, craftable PvP gear for the sake of a PvP level independent gear set w/ Morale.

    Would it help? People complain enough when crafters get to extort Gil for making glamour items, do you really think it's a good idea to make people pay in order to get into PvP? The better solution would be to have had a i150 set of Morale gear, with no Rank requirement, that just looks like some of the leveling gear, just like i70 and i90 PvP stuff did.

    The only place this would even matter is Wolves' Den, and I'd honestly rather not have beginners jumping in there with their store bought Morale gear... Have two brackets for that ranked Wolves' Den we've been promised; Something like the current i80 capped Wolves' Den where Morale doesn't matter for everyone, and a Rank 50 bracket where anything goes for the srsPvPers. Anyone at Rank 50 should easily have that gear by now, so there is no real issue like we saw with the original Wolves' Den.

    if the sync for 60 den is also i150, make i120 armor with 40 (not 30) morale that are sold for cheap by the wolves den pier NPCs

    * Solves people complaining about market prices

    * very cheap

    * no use outside of pvp unless people want to glamour it

    * requires no rank

    edit:

    The problem with the old system was how morale used to work, it was completely overpowered and im glad it was removed

    Yeah, what was the point, it just made what they did that much more insulting to those of us who had earned the PVP ranks to equip it.

    I think it would be nice to have any alternative to the rank grind currently in place (most people cheat in Wolves' Den trade anyway). Yes they will probably be expensive, but I know plenty of people who would rather drop millions of gil than spend hours upon hours grinding the rank up. It wouldn't force people to pay, it would just be a nice alternative to people who could pay, or even better, for people to craft it for themselves. I never said anything about removing the regular PVP gear, they could leave those on as well for people who want to rank up for it normally.
