Thread: Wish I knew that earlier

So had a few "Wow...really?!" moments the past week and am curious to know what people may have just recently discovered despite it being available for some time, plus its like 1:30am and not tired

1) Just about a week ago I unlocked the Challenge Log. Despite hearing about it for so long I thought I was just not understanding the phrase, wasn't until I got bored and did a low level quest in Gridania that I unlocked it. How I got by in some aspects makes me wonder....

2) Today we decided to finish up our airship and when totaling up the amount of ore needed, came to around 360 iron ore, wasn't until I hit about 180 that I remembered I could just buy the ore from the vendor at our FC home.

Coming up on this games two year anniversary now... I just found out I can hold down "X" on the keyboard to make player names disappear and only NPC's become clickable. Would have been handy for all the times my mining node / wedding scheduler / event NPC was completely swamped with players.

Playing since closed beta and never knew that. Does it work on objects too?

Well can't hold on X on its own without it going to Text Mode so I switched it to Ctrl + X.

Also it still doesn't work... I saw the Target Filters and I can still see Player Names and click on them. I must be missing something.

Numpad 0 is default confirmation and will bring up the controller "finger" to target menu options and items in bags.

2, 4, 6, 8 are down, left, right and up respectively. I log in, 0 0 to start game, 0 0 to select my only character and confirm choice.

When doing garden, 0, 0, numpad to find the fertilizer, then 0 to use it. After that I don't need to move through inventory to find it and right click plant, 0, 0, 0, move to next. Very quick. Tending iis 0, 2.

I wish I knew earlier that I could go there because its so cool!
