How Many Astro Plan to Purchase Eso Weapon Tuesday?

this is one of the WORST healer in the game, need probably 20 hot fixes to make it as a good replacement to the other two healers.

Hopefully, it will never truely replace the other healers, if it ever becomes a WHM with cards there would be no reason to go WHM.

I think imma go for accessories first. I like playing different classes and eso accessories aren't locked to a single class.

Of course it will be my first eso upgrade even with the spell speed.

I think that spell speed/piety are core components of an AST, since the job depends on fast cast to have more breathing room to use cards. However, I have bought the ring in the first week, because I thought the extra stats would add some immediate value to my raid group, since I was playing SCH because we had to get a replacement for one of the DPS in my group and two others were slacking (using cheap 2.0 food and no pots). For this reason, I'll get the robe on tuesday (the extra piety will help) and the weapon on the 5th week. I'm not waiting for any changes on the job, because I can play it just fine as it is, so I'll get the AF pieces. But I think the accessories are a better choice for people who are switching all the time.

tato you have a good point but I dont feel the minimal upgrade of 3 mind is worth spending the eso at this time. the much larger upgrade would be ideally a weapon.. but sch or astro.. that is where I am stuck at. I have been playing sch merely because PF excluded astro for savage.. I hope this idea changes tues when dps get their weapons and sch dps wont be "needed" as much.

The eso weapon is literally so bad that it's not even worth getting if you have the hive weapon.

If you don't see yourself farming ravana though, go for it.

Meh even so Watson damage still trumps all.not like it will be an issue if we can customize our new relics.in all honesty the weapons being sold for esoterics is a new test for se. I don't think eau to farm tomes should be able to buy cutting edge weapons. Weapons should be from the relic chain or raids.

I'm not getting the weapon but instead waiting for the new relic weapon to come out which should be soon by the time I get the left side of my gear the new zodiac weapons should come out by then but this is just guess work.... And we'll I just don't like the spell speed on the weapon

I'm still hopeful for AST changes down the line, but for this current raid cycle I'm locked into SMN, so SMN is what I will gear. Depending on how frustrating the new relic chain is, though, I will probably work on an Astrologian relic after Summoner, and it'll be the next job I gear with Eso tomes. If they receive worthwhile buffs in time for the next hardcore raid I will happily switch back to it.

Keep in mind that, in 2.x, they made sure that the relic weapon never outperformed the raid weapon until raid content was not relevant anymore. If you recall the last relic upgrade, it started as i80, then it moved to i90 a while after (Allagan weapon was still i95) and then Atma came, which was a fake upgrade, because it had i90 stats even though it was i100; when Animus came, you could only do half of the upgrade at the start, so you never got past the Allagan weapon until it was not relevant anymore. Since the Esoterics one has the same ilvl as the Alexander one, there's a chance that they won't allow the Relic to outperform neither of them.
