    Specialization

Maybe this was covered before but don't see it o the forum.

Is there any point to specializing? The skills you get all seem pretty useless and the only byrgots rotation still seems the most powerful. I can still HQ everything with it rather easily.

I can see them maybe coming in handy if you only have 1-2 lv 50 crafting jobs. But if you have all 50's specialization seems worthless

And that's exactly what they're for. People who have not leveled all the DoH classes will find those abilities extremely useful. It's meant to help those who are not leveling every DoH.

That said, the abilities are far from useless, even for people with all lvl 50+ DoH. While testing the new abilities on low level recipes, I've personally managed multiple 99+ step syntheses. Yes, that's right, 99+ steps. The counter even stops at 99, even if you go beyond that in steps. The rotation is RNG-reliant, though, so it's risky - but it's possible for it to blow any Byregot's rotation out of the water.

All that said, I'm unsure if anything works differently with higher level recipes. If the chances for Good condition are lower on crafts lvl 51+, then this "infinity rotation" (as I tend to call it) would end up far less useful.
