same, but we will most likely be disappointed. If its only the duration/spawnrate change they better do it soon, cause even though i really want to craft, with the upcoming change in mind i have no motivation to do anything right now.I sincerely hope it's not just a minor tweak to buff duration and drop rates. They could have hotfixed something like that yesterday. If they're taking their time, I hope for a more substantial change that really fixes some of the bigger issues with the system instead of the band-aid we got a week ago.
I agree, and I feel most players are also anticipating a *fix* of some sort, all the regular crafters looking for Favor mats sans 1 have stopped advertising on the PF. We need something for tomorrow's reset![]()
I like the favor system. I like going out and having to clear nodes. However, I would very much like some stability in the amount of hidden nodes you see each favor. Just finished 3 favors and here were my results.
1st favor - 1 Ooid
2nd favor - 1 Roundstone, 2 Ooid
3rd favor - 1 Roundstone, 10 Ooid
4th favor - Nothing and Nothing.
I would personally like the spawn rate of the concealed nodes NOT to change, but each favor last until X number of these nodes have spawned. Meaning you might spend 45 minutes doing 1 favor, but you will always receive a stable yield.

Did a guy on here really say that the time should not change if the node had a 100% spawn rate? Some ppl just cry for EZmode. I do agree it need to be changed with less RNG. I have done some where I get 5 and 2 HQ's and others where I get 1.. that sucks a bit lol.
When will be 'fixed'? next Tuesday?
Why even do the nodes period. My problem isn't obtaining the gathering scrips and it isn't the RNG component of the materials, it's that I don't want invest so much time doing something so needlessly mindless. Either make the crafting mats just cost rowena gathering tokens or replace the favors with satchels that you open for random drops. I'm fine with either.
There is no reason to make these Favors take so much time other than to discourage people from doing them via time sink.
I suspect that a second reason for this system is to force players to gather as many ordinary items as possible to put onto the market, hence the need to completely deplete a node. It'll force prices for some basic materials to stabilize at a lower price faster. Why even do the nodes period. This is what I also suspected, and it makes great sense for things like Void Nuts (Birch Logs) and the ooid in the hinterlands (Hardsilver ore), but then you have things like Wyvern Wart (Dandelions), red ooids (citrite), both forelands (star ruby/sapph and coneflower) and others I can't think of.
Maybe if it were along the lines of any node in the area rather than only level 60 nodes. I could see myself mining red ooids where mythrite ore spawns, but citrite is already dirt cheap.
Personally I think this is all a plot to kill the RMT shard market long term. Not saying that's the sole reason for this system but it's certainly a hidden purpose.
Between Ephemeral Nodes giving shards and crystals, favors allowing you get farm crystals, and actual favor items giving clusters.....I'm not sure about everyone else but I'm swimming in all the above currently.
