Further boosting their support would just cause more bitching as PLD is in the same place as ARR BRD: people dont want to support, they want more damage. The majority of PLD bitching is centered around lack of damage.

Lower tank slashing debuff and you just made NIN a lot more needed, further upsetting the already shitty DPS balance.

If you just lower the slashing debuff even for NIN then you just nerfed NIN period.

This is from way back in the forum but I'll agree that PLD's wouldnt like it cause they want more damage. It's just a creative option that would make PLD unique and more of a protector.

Second on the slashing debuff. If you made the NIN one stackable as well and capped it at 10% then either the main tank or the off tank would not have to use it then creating an opportunity for more DPS options.

They all are lol. Didn't we come to the conclusion yet that all tanks are viable but that its kind of silly to not bring a WAR in one of the two tank slots at the current endgame content due to their utility?

Thread is a little ridic, so I was just being funny. Yes eHP = the same on all tanks.
But it is however better to never take the damage, than to take it and have it need to be healed.
So there is that to keep in mind. They are slightly different.

The attitude of WAR players regarding the possibility their class might be a bit too good (or, alternatively, that the other tanks need to be better) weirds me out a lot, its like a lot of the people in this thread are more focused on the class they play being The Best Ever than the game being appropriately balanced, even though balance is ultimately good for the game. It's equivalent to a PLD main in 2.0 insisting WAR should never be buffed.

PLD or DRK have yet to prove any of their points and practical experience so far is showing that WAR isn't some far ahead untouchable tank.

Those insisting WAR is to much need to both prove that WAR is doing to much and that the other two aren't doing enough. So far thats not been proven.
