Connection problems - I'm out of ideas :/

Been having intermittent connection issues with FF14 and lodestone website for awhile now, usually lasting anywhere from 10-20minutes, but today I got hit with a big one, so far 6 hours+ and counting.

talked to both SE customer service and my isp, both say they're not blocking anything, and the problem is on the other end, go figure :/

I've tried resetting winsock, flushed dns, switched to 3rd party dns, bypass the router etc., nothing seems to be working So far I've ruled out my pc, as my phone can't access the lodestone forum either when using the network, which would suggest that the router could be the issue.... but yet it does the same thing when it's modem direct to pc as well.

The only way for me to access lodestone and the game atm is through a VPN, but that's not really a permanent solution, anyone got any ideas?

This is a problem across numerous servers and seems to strike at random - like AIDS...wait...no, that seems right.

SE just defaults to blaming ISPs. They are nice enough folks, I just think the SE customer service manual says: "If a customer is experiencing connectivity issues simply blame the ISP. Immediately remind them that they won't be able to log on for at least another 10 minutes (again, blame the ISP) and encourage them to spend that time purchasing products manufactured in foreign countries to further devalue their pathetic currency. NIPPPPPPON GOOOOOOOO!"

Same things happening with me now, tried changing ip, changing internet etc. its happened to both my accounts for 3 hours now, and it wont go away. I can log in for maybe 20 seconds, then get 30002, then i must wait for 3102 to go over, then i get server error 11024 etc etc. its been crazy this evening. and i who am trying to get ready before the patch ...
