Don't use a word if you don't understand its meaning, because your sentence made no sense. This isn't the first time I've caught that coming from you. Of course if English isn't your first language I could totally understand, but if so you're trying too hard.

AST- Requires more work, for half of the output of a sch/whm. Edit( ok I'll go 75%-80%, but that is REALLY highballing)

i actually never had people bashing me personally, even when i was playing expert dungeons with minimal ilvl.
i did however have a few tanks acknowledge that AST has some issues with healing and acting more careful/pulling less.

i see once in a while on PF things like "no AST" and stuff, but im trying to ignore it and slowly enjoy getting my esoteric equipment and having hope that square is going to fix all this soon xD *sigh*

i agree with you on that, people are slightly ignorant if they say that AST is completely fine and viable healer that is performing well, because that's quite far from reality.

People are also slightly ignorant if they think it is a terribad job and not worth taking to end game content. What do I know though, I'm probably just a level 52 AST or something.

I'm not sure anyone is saying they're so bad they should be excluded, least of all me, because if so that would mean I'd be benched. That being said, if you're the person(s) in charge of a bleeding edge progression team, you're most likely going to desire the team that offers the most predictable and reliable results. In this case, that combination of healers is still WHM/SCH, but these circumstances are not unique to healers.

Right now the same arguments are in effect for tanks, and Paladins appear to be the ones getting the short end of the stick in that argument. This was bound to happen as soon as the number of available Tank and Healer jobs became 3 each. Someone will always be sitting out, and "A-Teams" are going to be composed of what the community is largely considering their best available options. They want to maximize their chances of success while minimizing their aches and pains, and I don't begrudge them that. It's far from ideal, but this is what happens.

I have been waiting a long long long time for someone to take up his offer like this . Can you do us all a favour and keep us updated on this proposal and how it goes when you are introduced to Balmung cutting edge progression raid groups who are running AST permanently in their raid groups, and especially the ones who are running 2 x AST .

Little late, hardly frequent the forums, but I did actually manage to get some info out of the whole thing. Turns out it was his own Savage group and they hadn't cleared AS1 as of end of last week. Unfortunately didn't get the chance to enjoy a conversation directly with the fellow, he was afk on the forums I think at the time. Go figure!

Unfortunately didn't get the chance to enjoy a conversation directly with the fellow, he was afk on the forums I think at the time. Go figure!

Sorry my phone auto correction does not speak English as its first language. It understands linux code. I will make sure to scorn it before bed tonight. But its easy to know when you are grasping at straws when you start going Nazi Grammar mode.

Oh I am sorry they run 4 astrologians instead of 2. I will keep you up to date on this all man astrologian team as it sky rockets to the moon.
