No amount of "getting better" will magically increase your healing or give you a very much required actual healing cooldown.
AST is weaker than WHM or SCH. This is an objective fact and I don't think anyone but AST fanboys are going to argue against it.
This is entirely due to SE's policy that 'support' classes like ast, brd and mch should have lower dps/hps to compensate for their utility. The problem is that the utility isn't strong enough to compensate for our lower output. AST cards are a perfect example: the entire system is drastically underpowered, with several cards being almost worthless, and still subject to RNG.
That doesn't mean we're completely useless, and we can definitely get the job done...we just have to struggle more than the other two healing classes. We will have much more fun doing it though, and that's all that really matters to me.
A SCH pulling 150-160 dps is a bad SCH. 800+dps on faust, Oppressors is 500+. A2 is 850+ DPS. A3 is 500+. A4 all depends if as SCH you deal with most mechanics so dps and tanks can focus on boss.I do not understand your issue? I double astro heal A1-A4 without issue all the time. Also have enough mana to keep my 3 dots up along with the utility of our cards which from my own experiences is another 150-170 dps unless you get a unlucky spreak and pull nothing but bole. I easily contribute 200-300 dps from my dots and a malefic cast every now and then along with arrow/balance/spear on my brother who plays a machinist he normally clocks another 150-160 dps through an entire run which is on par with scholar personal dps.
So is the reason that you think AST is so good because the people you are comparing it to are just plain bad at all the healing classes, so they are equally bad at the new class as well as the old 2?
We are talking about alexander normal here, as you can tell by the quote i am responding to, and the proper use of dissipate to facilitate more dps. In normal you dont do any healing at all as SCH, and yes i have been parsed at that, this is with an entire 1 miss in normal. Also battle voiced foes requiem. And this is a 2 min fight.
So about me stopping...........?
In savage you should expect 360+ dps on faust from sch, depending on how much healing needs to be done, how well your co-healer is doing with healing, how much you miss. It is possible, when completely pushing dps, abusing dissipation to dps rather than heal and making the whm do far more than they should, to get to 500+ on this fight as SCH which also includes bleeding of aoe damage via shadow flare on adds and boss.

instead of posting misinformation how about trying to post something accurate with proof? how is that on par with scholar a sch pulling that low dps is just badI do not understand your issue? broken records
Here we can see Vlady in full glory getting exposed as troll, I think it's time nobody takes him serious anymore(though did anyone actually did take him serious to begin with?)I do not understand your issue? post a video of it then, the videos I have seen of savage all show one thing, the other healer under more stress thanks to the AST simply being there and apparently according to the glowing review from said AST's who are posting it, they are "one of the best" of course square will be figuring this out by the numbers in Alexander and they wont be good, so major buff incoming I hope.I do not understand your issue? EU servers are coming when Square?
This is SO OBVIUOSLY untrue are you not ashamed writing such things?I do not understand your issue? I double astro heal A1-A4 without issue all the time. So your brother must be doing 3k DPS and you are getting balance/arrow on every draw to get him over 150 DPS from your card buffs.
800 DPS on Faust is possible, with a bard, no healing at all and perfect dot uptime, without inflating numbers with Shadowflare and/or bane.
It's surely NOT expected to push 800 Singeltarget DPS, but as a response to someone claming a 150 DPS increase on a machinist if you "git good on cards", it's okay to say it that way I guess.
