Cancel recruit a friend?

Just wondering if there was any way to remove a recruit a friend from my account? I am the 'friend' that has been recruited by someone else and want to remove it but keep my subscription active? If that's possible.

As far as I know, there is no way to remove a recruitment code from your service account, and to be honest, why would you want to do that?

Being recruited doesn't put you under any form of obligation to play with the person that recruited you. It's basically just a way to get some perks, and playing alongside someone you know is an additional perk, but it's not essential.

I would suggest not worrying about the code, and just enjoying the goodies that come from being recruited (they'll be granted to ALL characters tied to your service account, so should you make an alt, you have an extra edge in early game).
