It's not a "me too" thing. Celebrating holidays with fun outfits is an "everyone too" thing. Imagine going to a Halloween party, and everyone is wearing the same outfit, because that is the only one available that year.

And since the items ARE still available, it sucks to tell newer players that if they want an item they have to spend $5 on it. Wearing cool event items is basically advertising a stupidly priced mogstation. (Although that won't make me take off my ghost costume.)

It stings even more when you were around to get them back then, but you just have a new character who suddenly doesn't have access to any of that stuff. If they made event items account-bound, that would be one thing, but...

Boggles my mind that people just let SE slide on this crap. I wish I had an e-mail or address or something where I could write them a letter to express my displeasure.
