DirectX 11 and Windows 10 Crash

When I made the jump to Windows 10, I had no issues running the DirectX 11 version. Until I unplugged my second monitor. Now I keep getting a "Program stopped working" black screen every time I launch the game with DirectX 11. When I use DirectX 9 it works perfectly fine. However, me and my partner both have, essentially, computers with the same specs and she hasn't had any issues with DirectX 11. I have tried reinstalling the game, uninstalling/reinstalling the Envidia drivers and even reinstalling windows 10. Any help is greatly appreciated.
