I'm also assuming they're going to bring back pink dye after 1.20. Currently the materials for it no longer drop so whatever people have is what's in the game. Also in 1.20 we'll lose the recipe to make it so if they don't put one in, pink gear will be super rare.

well, it seems you can only obtain the dye from quarrying? I'm not a miner so I wouldn't know lol

All the secondary gathering actions can give dye. So the 3 main regions have different dye for each gathering class so there's 9 dye total for now.

Just might require a bit of patience lol. From what I tried last night (Some grade 1 and 2 spots) dye is a bit rare. It may have a higher drop rate from higher grades though.

I see allot of the recipes on LS only have a couple colors, are they just examples or are the recipes really limited. Basically what im wondering is, can you make plated armor any of the new colors.

From what I've seen, no. I haven't tried it myself yet but that seems to be how it is.

i guess the item search counter would have all the available colors in it, i was hoping for some black plated armor.

Seriously disappointed in SE restricting colors to certain gear once again. But as others have said, hopefully they'll expand the color options for gear in the future. Still... what the hell, man.
