Server Question

I have friends starting the game here that cannot join me an Balmung but want me to transfer here. What is the population like? Good number/quality pugs? Decent population count? Good end game progression?

Goblin is a small server, but not too small. Its good enough to know someone by just seeing their name in the shouts, etc. Party Finder isn't always full, hence the size of the population. When there's a good/bad player, everyone knows (lol). End game progression is ok, unless you find yourself in a FC that is very casual. We have plenty FC's/Static groups that have cleared A3.

to my knowledge only Win logon's group has killed A3, but yeah not a lot going on for end game content on this server in particular, if their coming in with a end game raiding mindset, I highly recommend applying to a progression group site elsewhere, and going from there :P

I often see the same people at hunts and come across people on my friends list pretty often. I'd say it's a pretty tightknit server. However, if you and your friends are looking to focus on endgame, I wouldn't recommend Goblin. There are hardly anyone shouting for savage statics and only one group on our server has downed A3S. I remember we were one of the last servers to down Twin and we only had 1 or 2 groups downing her consistently by the time the next coil came out.

Ehh?? We had lots of groups that were downing Twintania before Second Coil came out. That said... yeah, don't come here if end game progression is important to you.
