New PvP Idea: Craftageddon

This idea comes from blending grocery games with a crafting mini-game. Judges could also be added if quality should be graded. You can choose between what crafting type you want to enter like cooking, alchemy,etc,etc.

1.A game mediator/host will tell us some things they want crafted as we stand at a crafting center.

2.It will be timed each time a recipe is given. We will have to go out in a map and look for the required ingredients.

3.Upon gathering the ingredients, we have to rush back to the crafting center and craft it.

4. After crafting one recipe you receive another recipe and go out gather ingredients and craft it.

5.Rinse and repeat.

Note: The craft the mediator wants are random as are the ingredients spawn points. A doppler effect sound effect will get louder as you get closer to the ingredient node.

We start out with some unique maps similar to how FPS have multiplayer maps. They will vary in theme from things like a Haunted Forest, Volcanic fissure, deep pond, etc. Each map has unique crafting recipes and random spawn nodes.

Rewards could consist of unique pvp gear or tools that help locate ingredients faster, craft faster, hold more ingredients, and unlocking more maps.

I think this is a great idea because I love that show and I love crafting. Especially cooking on the game and in real life. I would definitely do this PvP and I was never really interested in PvP before. But if you add this I would do this!!

I really hope they add this, I love guy fieri's shows and i think this would be so cool to do in the game, Especially since this is a hobby of mine inside and outside the game.

If they actually took the time to make some sweet vanity crafter/miner gear this would work..who doesn't love a good shokugeki!

Crafting is something I do when I can't fall asleep and need something to knock me out. I really don't get how you guys can just sit in a corner somewhere and stare at a status bar. I get that it's all just pushing buttons, game wide, and the sense of accomplishment from making something is nice... I guess... but the lack of actual activity is stifling and utterly boring to me.
Still, for the sake of you lot who like it, this would be a fine game mode. Anything that makes crafting even slightly more entertaining than falling asleep is a plus, right?

Crafting is something a certain kind of person thoroughly enjoys. The kind of person who likes roleplaying creating things or building an financial empire. To some it is like how and why mini-games came into existence in the first place.(To prevent burnout on repeating other content)

In the 3rd category(where most people are) are the people who enjoy battle content and see crafting as something to progress in but are not immersed in it. I understand that. If someone is into dirt biking and feel a requirement to go make cupcakes, that would be boring to them.

Crafters just like battle classes want different avenues of progressing just as battle classes do. So I am putting this idea forth for them and me.
