FFXIV Has Stopped Working - Windows 10 Update

Are you playing the game in Direct x 11 mode? - Looking at the problem signature it looks like the dx_11.exe package may be having an issue.
Have you tried running FFXIV in Direct x 9 mode?

Basing info from this:

Faulting module name: ffxiv_dx11.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x55b2d5a0
Exception code: 0xc0000409

This is a indicator of STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN (0xc0000409)
Might suggest running the game in Direct x 9 or downgrading back to last known OS. Not sure if compatibility more will help you here.

I have tried switching to DirectX 9.0, but instead of crashing, the window simply closes (so the game launches after hitting "Play", then closes within two seconds). I may have to just roll back to Windows 8.1. Just hate to do that, though, since FFXIV is literally the only program/game to give me issues.

I'm back online! I wound up doing a clean install of Windows 10 and reinstalling FFXIV. No issues so far. Going to turn on DirectX 11 and see if I get any errors.
