The amount of MP CON has access to is likely to skyrocket with the new class adjustments. Check out the video of the Ifrit fight and you'll see some pretty high MP levels.
they nerfed you damage spells hella bad too, increased timer and all share one timer.omg
Well, at least now you can rank up PGL for refresh (?!). Featherfoot will make you recover MP over time.
But yep, this patch does sounds really bad...nearly as bad as 1.18...luckly in 1.20 they might add the rest command so you can rest MP during battle..."becasuse its like this in FFXI".
time to learn basic resource management skills
changes are good, and in the EXACT right direction that the game needs to be taken in order to inject some enjoyable challenge into the game.
Stop crying. Roll with times.
My gf is a con and she never run out of MP and she sleep, cure, buff, and sometime even nuke for BR so i don't know what your issue maybe learn how to take care of your mp more?
and also just for the hell of it Conj is a class which = solo once the jobs system come out WHM would = party and whm most would unlock spell to get mp back that would help also BLM with buff and so on.

There are plenty of fantastic conjurers out there. What Square did was simply make it so you couldn't run in the middle of a battle and spam Curaga III giving the game no strategic elements at all.
You need to keep your MP up somehow, and there are ways to. You need to hold off from getting hate, and if you do get hate, don't fucking act like a retard and run away; preventing the tank or anyone else from pulling aggro. You need to realize when the best time to use Cure or Curaga is, etc.
Conjurer is one of the hardest classes in the game, simply because you are the lifeline. As is the healer in all MMOs, they just made it more strategic in a sense. What Square is basically trying to get you to do is to adapt to various situations.
I agree with what you just said Ruisu^^.... Basically it's called MP Conservation...You need to disengage active mode your staff or wand once a while just to regenerate MP...Food sometimes helps in faster MP regeneration I usually stack these. And you really don't have to use your most powerful spells if you can manage use level 1 spells they take only a few MP...Only use the powerful ones under extreme circumstances and I mean EXTREME^^ And if you can also manage do not touch "Tranquility"... again only under extreme circumstances make this your backup MP pool... But if you are conserving MP to begin with then there is no reason to engage "Tranquility" ^^There are plenty of fantastic conjurers out there. My wife plays a Con, and she's psyched for the changes, she's looking forward to the job actually taking some skill to play. Resource management, baby. Time you learned it.
