    CON & THM

    CON:
    Cure - Enable AoE again.
    Curaga - Erase it.
    Ancient magic (Flare, Freeze, etc) - erase shared timer.

    THM:
    Sacrifice - AoE, erase HP cost, decrease initial HP cure and/or lengthen regen potency and/or regen time.
    Siphone MP/TP - AoE again.
    Normal AoE instead of cone.

    A reraise-spell again plz.

    I'd like my AoE back. But hey. inb4 "That's not how you play the game" or "OH NOES I AOED"

    Tough, pay attention. That's also part of MP management and a tactic. You wouldn't want every spell in your arsenal to be doubled, and neither do I. If on the off chance my party leader thinks we might need Curaga I might put it on my bar.

    It'd be nice if we could set AoE per spell or spell tier. Kind of like how we have targeting modes. Why can't we have AoE modes?

    But yes. Curaga is redundant

    I completely agree about con...and completely disagree about THM. For THHM the only change regarding these spells i'd do is lowering MP cost of sacrifice.

    ...and maybe changing paradigm shift to a "Forces your next spell to become AoE".

    about cure, i'd just make MP cost and enmity being based on number of affected targets...but other than this i'd leave it just like it was before 1.18...even the MP cost.

    In FFXI I played all mage jobs. In FFXIV, I hate mage jobs (level them just for abilities). Hope they do something to make them more fun/better or they will never see the light of day outside leve burns.

    That makes 2 of us. In FFXI i was 100% mage...only melees i had at cap were PLD and DRK, that were "half-mage"...but i do hate mage here too. But my main complaint about mages is HP mostly. As SMN i could endure 1 WS from Kirin while fighting it...here, instead, even marmot farts can OHKO me ; ;
