    Caster limit break/adrenaline in pvp

Caster LB has some weird sync between the floor animation and actual hit. If a enemy casts caster lb on you and you move before the ground target icon vanishes, you will still be hit. From what I noticed, you are being hit before the animation even finishes casting. This makes avoiding caster lb almost impossible in most cases. The only way I found you can avoid it is by moving out of the circle when the cast first starts.

No other skill in game has this problem, afaik.

    Fix please.

If you get hit, or not, is determined when the cast finishes, NOT when the animation plays. This is the case with almost every skill in the game.

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to apply to caster LB in pvp.

Check out Titan's Weight of the Land some time.

As a caster using the LB, the exact opposite of what you describe happens; people that are in the circle at the end of the cast end up escaping damage. It's all a matter of how fast your system/connection is.

I never had a issue avoiding weight of the land.

In pvp, everyone I know has the same problem with caster lb. You will get hit unless you run out at the very beginning.

First, what matters is who is in the circle when the cast finishes (not animation plays) on the server (not on your PC or their PC). This is also why you can move before a cast finishes and it still goes off - on the server the cast has already finished before you start moving, but your client is a little behind. Theoretically, this means you have just as much time to dodge it as you would with a lower ping, but the problem is that you don't know to dodge it until it's too late because the ground indicator appears late too.

In PvP, when I've been slept/targetted with caster LB, I've immediately hit Purify followed by Aetherial Manipulation to teleport out of the circle and I've still gotten hit despite leaving seconds before the indicator vanished. It's very frustrating. I've even had that happen without the sleep/purify - indicator appears, I run/manip out, I still get hit.

I think the problem is worse in PvP than PvE because NPC casts are prioritized by the server over PC casts because normally NPC skill use is far more important to know when it's going off. I don't know. But I've never had trouble dodging Weight of the Land as a caster. I've always had trouble dodging Cometeor despite reacting just as fast.

    Thanks Nyalia,

Someone who understands that its not a matter of your connection speed or pc. I don't have any issues dodging weight of the land or any other aoe skill in the game. But I can't dodge caster lb, ever. No matter how fast I move. Everyone I play with has the exact same problem as well.

Most of Cometeors success come from the fact that the indictaor appears on the opposing players after 30% of it has already been cast.

Don't worry though guys, this will never be fixed because things such as latency don't exist since japanese players don't experience this lag.

I agree, largely why its such a powerful move is because most of the players can't dodge it due to server side issues. Its crippling. Don't give up hope, maybe if the problem gets acknowledged they will get it fixed.
