Native Support for PlayStation Move, Playstation 3D & Dualshock 3

I'm going to try to cover all the bases as quickly as possible.

PlayStation Move, Dualshock 3 & PlayStation 3D ARE
    • interface devices
    • relevant

    Support for said devices
    • Could make Sony very happy.
    • Can already be emulated by the end-user.
    • Should be added asap for testing reasons
    • shouldn't have a massive impact on the code.

Now, I know you may have questions & concerns. I've got plenty. However, most are pretty open shut. Mainly, the biggest issues are: the game currently only has three axis inputs... but that isn't actually a problem... if you know what I mean... & this is just going to break the game even more... Again, not actually a problem... if you know what I mean...

Heck, you would think Sony wouldn't mind doing the bulk of the work to get their stuff working on PCs. Sell more PlayStation brand devices, gain the potential to sell more PS3 consoles as well as just selling more hardware/software in general. If they want developers to use their devices, cross platform support should be a no-brainer.

Anyway, I'd really like to see this game take full advantage of the PS3 if/when it is released on that system. Move & 3d support adds quite a good reason for 'certain' people to play. Which certainly is a plus.

No offense, but knowign the in's and out's of the PS3 core design, limitations, and memory issues. 3-D? It couldn't handle CHrystal ools for thsi game, and even with Luminious which can handle limited memory off handing, the ps3 simpl ywill nto be able to play FFXIV in anything higher then 720p, let alone havign the cells have to handle 3-D coding, while they already are goign to be taxed handling on screen drawing of characters, but there will be a limited area of display similiar to how it is on the PC now with the old engine.

SE isn't goig nto waste their times with move. It is not effcient. Perhaps WIndows version of kinnect, where holding a harry potter glowing wand isn't required when in battle and you better not be fiddling with that wand when you need to heal a party member fast.

It has to be cross plateform equal, so it won't happen. They can do more with the refined kinnect for PC's, but still, they won't becuase it woudl be a disadvantage to the PS3's move.

Windows Kinnect is already out in device form. It is superior to the Xbox counter part. It is far superior to Move. Move woudl never land on windows based pc's without hacking, and that would not be officially supported by any company.

I think utilizing Playstation Move would be a big waste of development time and resources.
