We have skill bloat now so I am against new skills what so ever. Merit would work best when we are at top level for the game period (no clue when that will be). And dude with classes outside of raids, why not take from their pvp system and give you skills only used in overworld? I hate skill bloat and am against it, but that would make more sense in the current game. In the end all it is just a new grind to do with gear if added since as most have said for the most part their will be a cookie cutter "best" build. What could be cool would be movement speed procs for certain skills that could be merited in (would need yo change up encounters then, but with new content it might be nice). Overall thou I would just want more levels and more attribute points maybe some more traits to change up the jobs from 60-70. And more jobs always gives more room for different gameplay.
