Limitless Blue (Extreme) - Why do many people still fail DPS checks?

The problem I see is that instead of choosing a class/job that suits their play style, they try to make that class/job bend to suit their play style. It's a "screw you, I do what I want" kind of mentality that is plaguing DPS players.

What they should do is choose a class that best suits the way they play then look at it and think "now, what can I do to maximize my effectiveness with this class?" Unfortunately, most seem too lazy or unwilling to do this and the rest of us suffer as a result.

It's always interesting (not to mention irritating) that this type of thread attracts tryhards who passively blow their own horn by saying everyone (but them) are simply bad players.

Have you joined any Savage/Extreme groups lately? I dont think you have.

I don't get it.....they usually have better gear than the weapons it drops.

And why can't I set the Journal to not display it on my HUD all the time without abandoning it entirely?

1) They like mashing buttons. I know my sister does. Literally, she's a monk and she just clicks any "button" that is lit up. I get growled at when I try to correct her.

2) Someone made a terrible design decision and now it can't be fixed without prying everything apart. I would like the option to hide the journal stuff as well without hiding the Duty/Fate synch option.

I'm more surprised by the fact that all the Bismark EX gear is generally useless. You'll probably have i180 weapons before you even try the fight. It's too bad they didn't make it drop i190 rings instead.

I know, after I got my clear I have never been there again, I dont even want the arm for glamour because it doesnt have any shiny effect, pure waste of loot.

Also, after struggling with Bismark and Ravana we created our own Linkshell with people that know of to use their class, not the best solution but at least the groups are decent now.
