    Changing the setting to DirctX9 now simply just won't launch the game. If I have it set to DirctX11 the game will get the stop-error but on DirectX9, the game simply won't launch, period. Any help at all?

    Bump. Having the same issues here, Bella. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling FFXIV, sweeping my display driver and updating, switching antivirus programs, everything. Did you do a clean install of W10, or did you do an upgrade? I upgraded, which is apparently the bad move lol. Worst of all, ALL of my other games are working without issue =/
